Pages for UK members of BigGerz are signed Oswin Talbrecht, a name chosen by our editorial team and not the name of a person known to the public. We use it so that each page has one accountable editor. It carries no claim of professional qualifications, certificates or personal test deposits.
Role
The author role covers drafting the pages of the site, checking their statements against the terms of our own service, and recording changes. The author does not operate member accounts, does not handle payments and does not decide the outcome of complaints. Those functions belong to our support and payments teams.
Methodology: a checklist for every page
Each page is taken through the same numbered checklist before publication, and again whenever it changes.
- Collect the current terms of the offer, payment option or feature from our own service.
- List every figure and condition the page will contain.
- Write each statement with its condition beside it.
- Compare every figure with its source on the day of writing.
- Remove any figure that cannot be confirmed.
- Check that amounts use pounds sterling and that the spelling is British.
- Read the page as a UK member would, and remove wording that suggests urgency or a guaranteed result.
- Compare the page with the other pages of the site for contradictions.
- Record the date of publication.
- Record the reason for each later change.

What is not claimed
We do not publish statements about winnings, payout rates or results as proof of fairness. We do not describe an offer as certain, free money or risk-free. We do not present the author as a player who earns an income from gambling.
Two statements, checked
A statement such as “the welcome match is 150%” is compared with the offer terms and kept only if the figure is identical. A statement such as “crypto withdrawals are processed instantly once approved” is compared with the cashier description and kept together with the sentence that arrival depends on the network. In both cases the condition travels with the statement, so that a reader never receives the headline without the rule behind it.
When a check fails
If the source and the page disagree, the page is held back. The editor asks the responsible team for the current value, and if no confirmed value arrives, the figure is left out and the rule is described in words. Pages are never published with a placeholder that is meant to be filled in later.
Reading levels and terms
Terms such as wagering, cashback, verification and self-exclusion are explained in plain words where they first appear. A reader who has never used an online casino should be able to follow a page without outside help, and a reader who knows the subject should find the exact condition without searching.
Source material
Statements are checked against the live offer terms and the cashier of the service we operate. Where an outside body is named, such as a national helpline, the details are taken from that body. A figure that cannot be confirmed is left out.
Records kept
For each page the editor keeps the publication date, the list of figures and conditions checked, and the reason for each later change. The record allows a reader’s question to be answered with a specific date and a specific source, not with a general assurance.
Corrections
A published error is corrected as soon as it is confirmed. The corrected text replaces the earlier one, and the change is recorded. To report an error, write to [email protected] with the page name and the statement. The author is responsible for the reply, and support passes the message on.
Responsible gambling principles
The author follows the principles of our responsible gambling page. Play is described as a paid leisure activity for adults aged 18 or over. No page encourages a member to chase losses, to deposit beyond a budget or to play when upset. Independent help, including the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133, is named wherever limits are discussed.
Independence
The author writes as part of the casino team and says so. This is an official page of the service, and its statements describe our own offers and rules. Members who want an outside view should consult independent organisations for their own protection.
Scope of the role
The author writes and maintains pages; the author does not sit between a member and support. A member who wants a decision on an account matter should write to support. Plain sentences, a formal register and conditions placed beside the offers they belong to are the style rules of every page.
